What is The WYSH Project?
The WYSH (Worcester Youth Speak Honestly) Project 2024 is an original piece of theater devised by a group of young people who live and attend school in Worcester. This show is a unique platform for young people to speak honestly about their experiences, the struggles they face and their visions for creating a better future in Worcester and beyond. It uses personal stories, dramatized scenes, movement pieces and more. Performances are free and open to the public and include a talk-back with the cast after the show.
This program is funded in part by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency, the Greater Worcester Community Foundation and the Worcester Arts Council, a local agency.
